Naija’s very own Banky W who is fast becoming popular on the international scene (which is no surprise) has been selected to speak at the Oxford University’s Pan African Conference on Saturday May 4,2013 at the Oxford Union in Oxford, London. Others to speak at the conference include former US President Jimmy Carter, David Cameron and Senator John McCain amongst an elite others.
Banky W will be speaking on the advantage of present cultural shifts and changes in artistic expressions and the rise of vibrant music and how these changes are changing the continent’s self perception and its image abroad.
Of Banky W, Oxford union chairman,Temitope Folaranmi said:
“Banky is one of the leading African Musicians/Producers with a strong international presence in the view of his extra ordinary effort in developing young African music talents”. Go Banky, we are rooting for ya!!!
